Acupuncture
A traditional age old (2500+ years) and evidence-based practice of Acupuncture is “the strategic insertion, penetration and manipulation of needles on the body for therapeutic benefit” (AAMCA, 2023)
Acupuncture effectively and beneficially manipulates the acupuncture points and the energy channels (meridians) to facilitate the body’s ability to holistically rebalance thru addressing the symptoms and underlying cause of the condition. It can be effective in the treatment of chronic and acute ailments as shown in research studies (refer to the Acupuncture Evidence Project -see References button below).; assists in the prevention against disease; and the maintenance of general well-being.

Traditional Eastern Cupping
Used for centuries Cupping has been used to draw to the surface and disperse (clear away) stagnations in the body that otherwise impede good blood and qi flow/circulation throughout the body. It then enables reperfusion of the tissues with fresh blood, mending of the fascia, releasing soreness and tensions facilitating restoration (Bentley, 2022).

Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture or Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, incorporates needling, Gua Sha, & Cupping Therapies to rejuvenate the skin, and enhance the colour, texture, complexion, & muscles of the face. Collagen & elastin production is stimulated restoring symmetry, releasing tension, increasing muscle tone, reducing wrinkling and sagging. It can also benefit & support facial acne, eczema, & scarring.
This deluxe treatment leaves you looking and feeling refreshed and uplifted. Consequent treatments (approx. x12 with regular maintenance thereafter), provide more favourable appearance outcomes.
** NOT HEALTH FUND REBATABLE ** Health funds do not regard Cosmetic/Facial Rejuvenation as a benefit to Health. For this reason, they do not provide support, regardless overall body health is considered (eg. GUT-SKIN axis).
-
Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a traditional East Asian remedial healing medicinal technique whereby a smooth-edged tool is used to create friction while moving along the skins surface under pressure, unidirectionally.
Also known as ‘press-stroking this is applied to lubricated areas of body’s surface to intentionally create therapeutic petechiae resulting in the extravasation of stagnated blood, increasing circulation and healing.
